Our experienced staff offers a combined 60 plus years of warehousing and inventory management expertise and an extensive knowledge base in multiple industries. 

Our secure proprietary software is a complete supply chain management system for inventory and order management. Products are tracked from supplier (client or manufacturer) to recipient (B to B and/or B to C).  All stock is located and managed on our 300,000 sq. ft. warehouse floor for quick and accurate retrieval through the use of our barcode software.  Ferber Warehousing utilizes API (Application programming interface), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), FTP (File Transfer Protocol) as well as all major file sharing disciplines for the tracking of various documents used in the course of providing services.   You will have full, secure access to all of your data through our software portal.

The following technologies are utilized:

-Conveyorware Business Distribution Software (see technology page or   www.conveyorware.com)

-Magento web platform/language – plug in

-API for any webstore connectivity (ex. Shopify)

-Mobile Computer stations

-Barcode and radio frequency hand held scanners.

-UPS, FEDEX, USPS (Endicia) interfaces

Ferber Warehousing is continuously developing and enhancing new technologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of receiving, quality control, order management, inventory management, physical & cycle counting and shipping process. 

Ferber Warehousing offers 24 hour turn around from inbound to outbound.  For in-stock goods, orders in by 2 p.m. will ship out by 5 p.m.* (All times are based on the eastern-standard time zone.)  Exceptions could be considered, on a case by case basis, for less than 24 hour distribution. Rush fees could apply.

Storage rates are based on square footage used.  Vertical pricing applies for multi-layer storage.  Pallet based storage may also be available. In order to offer you the best service possible, Ferber Warehousing will need to discuss with you the services you require before a total or per piece price can be determined.  Contact Dianne Heath or Brandon Noll for a specific price quote.

Distribution and fulfillment order quotes are based on size, complexity and volume of orders.

Yes, Ferber Warehousing provides secured storage at its facility.  We use physical caged areas and private rooms and partitioned alarm systems to prevent unauthorized entry into any area.  Additional fees may apply.

We use on-site closed circuit monitoring for the entire facility.  Motion sensors detect any unusual movement during non-operating hours.  Our facility’s security’s systems are monitored by an offsite 24-hour service.  The building is fully sprinkled and adjacent to a 3 -bay fire station.

Ferber Warehousing has a multi-layered secured software platform that meets strict audit requirements for all its services.  We utilize encrypted communication security as well as internal client security.  We protect data internally as well as bi-directional electronic communication. 

Yes, Ferber Warehousing provides quick, accurate, low cost kitting services.  We will repack pallets and/or cartons based on client specifications.  Quality control projects and light re-work can also be quoted saving client’s time and money.

Ferber will print consumer and professional business documents on demand for inclusion in outbound packages. 

Ferber Warehousing offers a large variety of retail and Automotive (AIAG-Automotive Industry Action Group compliant) and Amazon shipping labels as part of our services.  Pallet labels, in any format you require, can be created. 

Ferber Warehousing has open dock hours Monday thru Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., first come first serve, for palletized product. Man unload 20ft and 40ft containers are by appointment only.  888-248-2144. Extended daily or weekend hours are available with advanced notice and premium labor fees. 

Ferber Warehousing has 13 loading docks including a double-wide dock, 10 grade level doors, capable of handling up to 12,000 pounds per hi-low move from the  following truck types.

  • Side loaders

Ferber Warehousing is located within the heart of metro Detroit’s automotive epicenter and multiple Amazon Facilities. 

Ferber Warehousing will consider outside storage on our 33 acre site on a case by case basis.
